I photographed this young smiling Chilean girl who was selling calendars while my wife and I were having coffee at a downtown cafe shop one evening in Concepcion, Chile. She was so curious about my camera equipment and I asked her if I could take her picture-and with all smiles she poised for me. She had such a nice smile and loved to have her photo taken that evening. My wife asked what was her name, she replied "Carolina", then my wife joking said Carolina North or South ( as I am originally from South Carolina, USA), then she said candidly " Carolina del Norte". The camera I used was a Konica Minolta 5D Digital with a Sigma 18-35mm, f3.5 Wide Angle lens shot without flash and processed in Adobe Photoshop.
